Literature Text

How noble and proud the governments must be,
to stick to their principles as the innocents flee.
How steadfast and honorable despite the misery they cause,
to see such suffering yet carry on without pause.
How brave and courageous as there missiles fly,
to stick to their guns as children die.
How righteous and happy there ghosts must be,
to haunt the rubble in there lands of the free.

Hey there,

Prettyflour here on behalf of :iconpoeticalcondition: with the critique you requested.

I want to start by saying that this is an incredible successful spoken word poem- I can just imagine the words being spoken aloud- powerful and impactful!  The brevity works well- your message is clear and concise.

As far as constructive feedback, you’ve got a few grammatical and spelling errors going on. See below in bold:

How noble and proud the government's (no apostrophe needed) must be,

to stick to there (their) principles as the innocents flee.

How stedfast (steadfast) and honourable (honorable) dispite (despite) the misery they cause,

to stick to there (their) guns as children die.

to haunt the rubble in there land's (no apostrophe needed)   of the free.

Regardless of the grammatical stuff, I really enjoyed this. It has good rhyme and nice flow and I think it’s great. I hope this is helpful and thank you for sharing your words!
